Let’s face it, we’re all busy… really busy. No matter what your job role is, it’s probably a safe bet to assume that you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed, especially at this time of the year. We have long workdays, tons of responsibilities, and a lot of personal engagements that take up time. We often find ourselves feeling like there’s not enough time in the day to get everything done. Wouldn’t it be great to have some life hacks that simplify things so you can regain your time back? Check out my list of 5 Simplify Your Life Hacks to get organized and bring a sense of accomplishment back into your day.

Set Daily Intentions: Stay focused to achieve your goals by setting daily intentions. First thing in the morning, write down the top 3 things you need to do personally and professionally to feel successful for the day. Keep that list in front of you and cross them off as you go through the day!

Create an Inspired Commute: Maximize the time in your car by listening to inspiring audiobooks or podcasts. There are some great podcasts through Apple Podcasts app or iTunes app. Pick something you want to learn more about and use your driving time to expand your horizons!

5-minute Workouts: No time to hit the gym? No problem. Take 5 minutes twice per day to do 10 jumping jacks, 10 push ups against the wall, 10 lunges, and 10 leg lifts in your chair. Boom – done!

2-minute Mindful Moments: Once every 1-2 hours take a couple of minutes to refresh & reboot with some deep breathing. Sit up tall in your chair and close your eyes. Take a slow deep breath in through your nose for a count of 5, hold for a count of 5, and exhale for a count of 5. Repeat this breathing exercise 10 times. You can also mentally repeat the mantra “I am calm” on the inhale, and “I feel peace” on the exhale.

Meal Planning: It’s time to stop staring into the fridge not knowing what to make for dinner. Plan out your meals for the week on Sunday’s. How many meals do you want to cook vs. takeout vs. going out? Use simple crock pot recipes that you can easily toss into your slow cooker in the morning and come home to dinner already prepared! Find a cookbook, grab a few recipes, make a shopping list, go to the store, and plan it all out. You’ll thank yourself!
